SEAN W. SCOGGIN, partner, has been a practicing attorney since graduating from the University of Wyoming Law School in 1998. Sean began practicing with Julie Tiedeken in 1998 and their practice focused on civil litigation. In 2007, Sean and Julie joined with Bill and Michele McKellar to form McKellar, Tiedeken and Scoggin, LLC. Sean's emphasis has been on trial practice, having been involved in numerous jury trials in the state courts of Wyoming, and in approximately 45 bench trials, as well as in numerous evidentiary hearings and arbitrations. Sean has defended a wide variety of lawsuits including personal injury and wrongful death claims arising from motor vehicle accidents, on the job accidents, and slip and falls. He has represented both injured workers and employers in workers' compensation cases in Wyoming at the administrative level, District Court level and in appeals before the Wyoming Supreme Court. He has also been involved in the defense of insurance companies against claims for bad faith.
