JULIE NYE TIEDEKEN has specialized in insurance defense litigation and general civil litigation since admission to the Wyoming Bar in 1981. Julie has served as lead defense counsel in a large variety of cases including matters involving personal injury, death claims, property and casualty claims, insurance coverage matters, products liability, construction defect, and employment matters. Her litigation experience includes acting as lead counsel in over 40 jury trials and numerous bench trials and appearing before the Wyoming Supreme Court and Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals on appellate matters. She has also appeared before various administrative boards and arbitration panels and has represented clients in numerous mediations. Julie has an AV rating with the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. She holds the rank of Associate in the Wyoming chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. She has been recognized by Super Lawyers Mountain States edition and Corporate Counsel edition in Personal Injury Defense.
Julie received a B.S. Degree from Purdue University in 1975 and her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Wyoming in 1981. She is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Wyoming and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is an active member of the Wyoming Bar Association, the Laramie County Bar Association, and the Defense Research Institute. |
